Intermittent Fasting: Health, Aging, and Disease.
This review paper showed that people who followed intermittent fasting windows had improvement in blood pressure, resting heart rate, glucose levels, inflammatory markers and improved resistance to stress. It is hard to argue that improvement in these parameters do not influence the body’s ability to function longer as the machine would have to function better and more efficiently as a result.
