Prevent/Delay Effects of Alzheimer's

Movement can prevent/delay the effects of Alzheimer’s disease on your ability to think.  Can exercise improve cognitive symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease?  This study aimed to examine the effects of exercise on cognition in those individuals at risk for Alzheimer’s disease and those who already have cognitive decline associated with mild Alzheimer’s disease.  They reviewed 19 studies including 1145 people and showed that modest exercise improved cognition in these individuals with aerobic exercise seemingly having the biggest impact.
