Prostate Cancer Prevalence in Hypogonadal Men.

This study showed that prostate Cancer was present in 1 of 7 hypogonadal men despite PSA levels less than 4 in their study population.  An increased risk of prostate cancer was noted when levels of testosterone were the lowest.  This was the first study that inadvertently showed that low levels of testosterone were associated with an increased risk of prostate cancer.

So, with regard to Testosterone levels, isn’t it smarter to have higher levels to decrease one’s risk of prostate cancer?
