Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is highly prevalent with type 2 diabetes and associated with significant morbidity and mortality.

Treatment with thyroid hormone reduces intrahepatic lipid content in subjects with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and NAFLD.
